I have been insured with Safeguard for over 30 years. My last renewal from them was over £800 . I called them and queried the amount which seemed very expensive. They put me through to Scenic their parent company who quoted £409 which include breakdown, legal , European cover and £20 service charge. Just shows how important it is to get quotes before renewal.

I am a member of the Camping and Caravanning Club. They have changed their logo and the look of the front cover of the magazine. The new logo is now in black and white and they have removed the red 'Friendly Club'. I do not think it is an improvement and I wonder what others think ?

We went to Norway a few years ago. Lovely country but very expensive. All roads were toll roads and lots of ferries. Some of the tolls had to be paid via a ticket machine at the side of the road. I missed a machine and 18 months later received a fixed penalty fine via an agent in London ! We went in June and it hardly got dark at night. Certainly worth a trip . We took a lot of tinned food.
