  1. Seems to me that Voltage seems to be the culprit. I have 280ah of LiPo4 batteries. Battery generally read charge voltage of 13.8v, this is during the day with some solar coming in. It doesn't drop much overnight. As I type the heater has cut out, set for 22, temperature in the van is showing 18. So I have done a manual restart. Voltage dropped to 13.7V and the battery meter showed initial 9.4amp draw dropping to 6 amp after about 30 seconds. I am going to put a battery charger on tonight to maintain voltage to rule that out. I read somewhere on another forum that these sometimes have a pre-programmed timeout built in. Thanks for all the input so far though.
  2. Hello All. Thanks for reading my post. I have an eberspacher with the 801 controller and it works really well in that it heats the van up and its nice and cosy, however it seems to time out. It will be running fine then for no reason I can see, it will shut down. This is annoying as when we go out it doesn't maintain the heat in the van and the same overnight. Is this a time out thing or is it something else? For example an internal overheat shut down. If this were the case would it not restart one the heater cooled down. Suggestions greatly appreciated.
