3 and 5 for me, but 1 would maybe be ok in a MMM comp as it shows a bit of road leading you to think you could drive past there, which leads me to ask which road was that as it looks familier

I think the position of the houses in bottom left makes this photo - you tend to see those first and then wander across the rest, just like reading from left to right.

My thoughts are 3 may not have the instant impact of 5 but it draws you in and gives you a lot more to look at, but then I'm no photo judge.

Two, Six and Seven are my favourites, as they have a lot of atmosphere and drama.

I like 3 as well Gaz. Why don't you send a PM to Andy Stothert to get him to give you his expert opinion. It makes me green with envy when I see some of the stunning pictures he has taken in the Lake District.

hi dave

i like 6 the best

how are you and jackie

We're both fine thanks, you and Julie??

6 is a good photo too, personally I'd say both 3 and 6 could benefit from a slight hike in contrast and perhaps a shade off the brightness, give them a bit more "punch" perhaps??

Hope you do well in the competition.

D.
