Randonneur
My Friend has just bought a Transit Conversion Camper Van with an Eberspacher fitted but he doesn't know whether it is just for heating or for heating water as well. Could anyone out there know what he should be looking for to find the answer?

spospe
Have a look at: http://www.eberspacher.com/ In particular the note that the Airtronic range are for air heating and have numbers such as D2, D4 etc, whilst the Hydronic models do water as well and have numbers such, as Hydronic 4 (or even just H4). It should be really easy to check, just by looking at the heater unit, I would have thought.

Randonneur
Many thanks for your quick responses. I have just spoken to him as he lives in the UK and passed on the information so he has something to look for now. We won't be over there until 6th June so can't help him out. Keithl
The best website I have found for Eberspacher is the American site espar.com. It contains far more info than any other I have come across. Is the heater on the Tranny water or air? Keith. PS. Can you not get him to join the forum?

We don't know yet which it is, he is going to have a look tomorrow. As far as the Forum is concerned, he has not used the computer much but when we see him next week we will set it up for him.
