Stuart
Early 2006 Sprinter 316cdi Central panel lights should come on when :- drivers door opened, ignition switched on, side lamps switched on or buttons on panel are depressed. They should go off again after 30 seconds unless the ignition is switched on or there are vehicle lights on ( presumably Mercedes rather than conversion). Problem is that it stays on all the time. Where do I start looking? Any advice would be helpful. Van going in Mon am for some work doing. Tks Stuart
onecal
Hi. Dont understand your post, ie central lights. Check the door switches and make sure one is not damaged. Regards. Brendan
davenewellhome
Most likely cause is a faulty earth connection. Check that all the wires are connected to the earth stud at the bottom of the fuse box. D.
Stuart
Thanks Dave, 'van is now in for damp rectifiication. Will have a go round the wiring when she comes back. I had wondered if it could be a sticky relay or whatever is used as a timer has stuck? Stuart
