Fitzsie
We are reasonably new motohomers so not completely au fait with how everything works so this is my question. We will be visiting my parents who have a driveway that we can park our Autosleeper on. They have said we can hook up to their electric but not sure if this can be done to a domestic location. Is it possible and would it be safe? *-)
Mike88
Yes that's fine. You can buy a special adaptor with a socket to receive your hook up lead and a 3 pin plug available from your local camping/caravan dealer.
Brambles
First, Welcome to the Forums. No problem at all. Just like on a campsite, plug in and check you have power. Probably sensible to press your test button on RCB in Motorhome to make sure the circuit breaker trips, and then reset it...All done. I only suggest the test button on RCB as you are new to motorhoming and maybe it has not been tested recently. I expect your hook up lead has a round blue plug and so you will need an adapter lead to convert into a 13Amp plug. Any more questions just ask away, there are always plenty around willing to help. Jon. p.s. Mike beat me to it.

JohnP
One tip. Because you are adjacent to the house and your mains cable is 25 metres long don't be tempted to leave the surplus cable wrapped up on the drum. If you do it will tend to overheat. Unwind the cable and leave it in large loose loops on the ground.
