Keithl Posted September 22, 2010 Share Posted September 22, 2010 Hi Barrie, I've got an incomplete manual for a 2006 Sprinter with a NAG1 Auto Transmission and on page 19 under 'Lubrication & Maintenance' it says... ADDITIONAL MAINTENANCE WORK Automatic transmission once only at 80,000 miles/128000 km Oil and filter change So it does have a filter. The bad news is that it is located within the transmission on the valve block and appears to be a specialist job to replace and requires special tools even to check the oil level. Keith.
