Millhey
Happy New Year to all! This was sent to me from a friend in USA. If you’ve heard it before, you’re still allowed to laugh! “When a man attempted to siphon gasoline from a motor home parked on a Seattle street, he got much more than he bargained for.. Police arrived at the scene to find a very sick man curled up next to a motor home near spilled sewage. A police spokesman said that the man admitted to trying to steal gasoline, but he plugged his siphon hose into the motor home's sewage tank by mistake. The owner of the vehicle declined to press charges saying that it was the best laugh he'd ever had.”
Big Momma
With this happening in the USA will wait to see if another article appears in the news stating that the thief is suing for compensation as the sewage waste tank didn't have a warning sign on it :D :D

Derek Uzzell
This is a 'golden oldie' and a GOOGLE-search retrieves the verbatim text in a 2003 Darwin Awards entry. See: http://forums.steroid.com/archive/index.php/t-55164.html Is it true? No, of course it isn't!
colin
As derek says, just a myth, to access black tank on RV is similier to european grey tank, you operate a valve it would then dump the full contents without need of a syphon.
