ham
Any thoughts on the Kipor generator Please. Yes I have run a search and seen the comments back to 2006 and I do know they are a copy of the Honda genny. There are still many Uk firms selling them A 1KW genny for £300. My use is mainly for keeping both our parents grave tidy and the odd use whilst away with the Van . I am fully aware of the Honda and its Merits . mikemoss
I'm another happy Kipor user. Had it for about three years, not used it very much, but it's always performed well when needed. No problems at all, touch wood.
onecal
Hi, Yes they do the Job well. Ideal when used now and again. The 2600 is excellent well worth the few extra quid, esp' if you use a microwave. Regards, Brendan
Basil
My nieghbour bought a revamped one that apparently is legit and does not infringe Hondas copyrite from 'Greenreaper' on line at what he considered a good price, don't know myself as I have no use for one so have not researched the situation see http://www.thegreenreaper.co.uk/Generators/Portable_Suitcase_Generators?filter_reset=1 he has been completely satisfied with it. Guest peter
If it's just for gardening tools, you don't need the Digital (yellow) one. You want the quasi sine wave (Red) one, which is even cheaper. I've got the 3000 (Yellow, 2600 watts) and it nearly rips your arm out to start it, especially if left for a while. So much so that it's going on E.Bay pretty soon. onecal
Very easy to start if set up right, valves may be set with too large a gap, common fault and a very easy fix. Overall the (yellow 2600i) is a fab little gen. Regards, Brendan
