peterjl
Hi adjusted my rearview mirror and it just came off in me hand guv! Its now gaffertaped on as i use it to check on the motorbike trailer (i have an aerial tied on that i can watch when i reverse) Sooo not sure of best way forward:- told its wear and tear so warranty doesn't cover (van just over 2 years old options seem to be:- ask euroglass or the like to come out or try and find an adhesive myself I seem to remember someone else had a thread on this problem but can't find it. Any ideas or experience would be appreciated. Peter
Randonneur
We bought some special adhesives pads that are made specially for the job. I presume you can buy them at Halfords etc in the UK.

I have just done the one on my wife's car Terry

flicka
Hi peter. The thread I think you are referring to was were the Rearview Mirror came away from the Windscreen with a lump of the windscreen still attached. So best check, there is no damage to the screen. Derek Uzzell
There seem to be several products available for re-bonding rear-view mirrors to windscreens, but not all of them get the thumbs-up. GOOGLE on "uk adhesive mirror rear view"
