Holyhead overnight parking

BIFFO

Recommended Posts

Hi to all fellow campers, am heading to Wales in a few weeks and will be late getting into Holyhead. Can anyone suggest a safe stopover for the night . Won't need any facilities , just some where for a few hours sleep.

All recommendations received with thanks. :-S

Lligwy beach allows overnight stops, have taken the google man right down into the car park but just cannot make out the cost for the over night, I think it was £5.

Right next to lovely beach and a very quiet spot. Next Moelfre if you struggle to find it. We had a static on the site at the top of the lane for 20 years.

Have a great time,

Mandy

ligwy beach is now £10 for overnight but if you are going for the ferry is quite a long way round he coast road

plenty of laybys on the a55 once you are on the island where you can overnight with the hgvs if you take the sign for penhros retail park just before you get to holyhead there are several large car parks on the retail park where i have seen hgvs and motorhomes overnighting near the argos store its only minits from the ferry terminal

Exiting from ferry port, turn back on yourself, follow the road through town by the port security fence, turn left at the end of the road there, go up the hill. You then get to the road overlooking the yacht harbour - nice, wide, quiet and good views over the harbour and sea. A good nights sleep, and free!
