mthomson
Has anyone else had problems with a squeal from the clock spring in a Fiat Ducato? The squeal - a bit like scraping a fork over a piece of slate - occurred when turning the steering wheel, and has just cost me about £275 to get fixed, mainly because the Fiat clock spring costs £190 + VAT. I'd never heard of such things until recently.

onecal
Hi,,Sometimes compressed air blasts works wonders, if it is done in time ,also if the unit is removed and the cable is not replaced properly it will make noise.Replacement may then be your only option.Regards,Brendan
