New Aire for overnights

Hi All the Aires fans.

An addition you may find useful when southbound through France.

Opening March 2013.

 

Off the A28/E402 @ Jn8 to Neufchatel-en-Bray. Next to Camping St. Claire, Bray (D1 northbound 500m from town centre).

Currently hardstandings (8) with EHU under construction & with a seperate bay for Waste Water.

Spoke to site owner, but charges not yet fixed. Entrance will be approx 30m before the campsite.

 

The site is one of our regular en-route halts, but can be a problem getting a pitch if arriving late without a reservation, so hopefully the new Aire will ease the problem.

John, drove by there a week ago but must have been on auto pilot! We were going 5km up the road to the aire at Mesnieres-en-Bray which is a lovely little village.

have just made it to Ile. de Re.......le soleil brille.

 Quite busy place so that extra Aire should help in finding a place to stay all around that area a little easer.

Thanks for info, this is just sort of thing that should be on here. When using this route usually us the aire at Montville, which has free wi-fi, but no hook-up so this could be better early/late season.

Another new aire which is opening early October, but this time in north east, is just off the D643 south of Cambris at Beauvois-en-Cambresis at a motorhome dealers "Lestringuez", Zone de la Ruche. As far as we understand aire will have all services with 9 places including hook-ups; not sure what charge, if any, will be. (saw details whilst staying on aire at Bertry).

Bit more info on the Aire under construction flikka refers too. It opens on 1st March 2013 and will be available all year .
