Is anyone planning on going ?

We have won tickets for the show next week thanks to Marquis / Autosleeper so will be having a day out. Although we have a new motorhome on order its the time of year just to have a wander around the show there may be something that takes our fancy.

Yes we are going on Wednesday, not too far for us to travel, if you have not been before have good walking shoes on as it's a big show with several large Halls to go around.. You can get the Shuttle bus from the car park to the entrance, or if by train you can walk from the station (Birmingham International) straight into the show...

Bought our last Motorhome from this show, no regrets

Have a good day...

Yes, we will be going on tuesday or wednesday but havent decided if we are taking the van and then going on somewhere else or to use the car and then have a trip next week.

We are coming from the south and are not looking to have a stay to the north of the NEC, otherwise a no-brainer.

This show is nowhere near as big as the October Motorhome and Caravan Show at the NEC, it's only in Halls 1-4, whereas the October one was over 11 Halls.

Still, it's quality not quantity that counts, and I'll reserve judgement till I've been - I'm there on Tuesday & Wednesday.

Don't forget to take your own refreshments/lunch etc as it's horrendously priced and not brilliant IMV.

Sorry Mel but don't agree with your view on the price of refreshments at the NEC.

The food used to be expensive but the NEC changed their pricing policy some time ago and now they are not that much dearer than supermarket/sandwich shop prices in our area (Cambridge) and the drinks similarly.

Plus you can sit at a proper table to eat rather than scrabbling around on the floor and you don't have to carry the food around either.

So IMO for a few shillings more it really is worth buying their food. Of course if you have specific dietary needs then their food may not suit you.

Finally the Premier Inn at the NEC does an excellent two course evening meal for £12.50 - really good food, we have eaten their most times we visit the NEC.

Not been to the show, but found the link to the NEC offer on another forum, apparently it went "live" on the 17th.

I'm very pleased, that £10 is better off in your pocket than anybody else's! ;-)
