This consists of topping young plain trees with a piece of kit that chops the remnants into standard size logs and shoots them up in the air and over on coming traffic. We were once climbing through a mountain pass in France, turned a blind bend to be confronted with a stationary hedge trimming machine. There were no warning signs whatsoever.
