Posted October 15, 2013 Share Posted October 15, 2013 Does anyone know who manufactures the fresh water tanks that have the simple plug and chain draining system at the bottom of the tank please. These tanks are usually found in the likes of Frankia and Burstner motorhomes so might well bet of German make. They have the advantage of completely draining the tank as against the side draining type that retain a layer of tainted water. I would be very grateful for any info. I'm fitting an internal tank to another motorhome for severe winter use. I want the type of tank described to avoid any external pipework to freeze up and, as I said, this type completely drains and avoids tainted water laying dormant as the result of most side fitting outlet tanks not draining completely. As you are looking for something you've seen on German Market 'vans, another suggestion is that you Google "Goebel Wassertank", where you may find something nearer to your requirements, and potentially deliverable via German Dealers or eBay.
