teflon2
The wind was strong enough to rattle our loft trap but as I'm deaf my wife had to wake to let me know bless her. What on earth were the parents of the boy washed away doing allowing him out when a severe storm warning was given a young life stupidly lost It's very sad. CliveH
When my MiL was alive we went round to check she was OK during a power cut and found her stranded in her electric recliner chair because she had put it back almost into a bed position to watch the TV and then all the power went. We sorted that with our leisure battery and an inverter - we then used the same to power her TV for a bit so we could see the extent of the problem. So unless the power goes out for days on end - my back up is a leisure battery kept topped up un the garage.

I've told you Donna they bring a bottle and come round to us. We tend to have a great evening.
