Flying Snail
I´ve just had the little cone knocked off the top of my aerial and it has let in water. Can this be sorted and if so how?
Bulletguy
Do you mean the Status TV aerial like this; http://www.jacksonsleisure.com/caravan-and-camping/vision-plus-status-330-caravan-tv-aerial/ Depending on how it's been knocked off it's simple enough to replace. Remember to use plenty of quality sealant though.
Keithl
If it is the Status as BG has shown then the 'Pinnacle' is a replaceable part and should not let water into the main aerial when removed. It is available from most caravan spares shops or Google "Status pinnacle". Keith.
Gram
Is it true that a sealant cartridge nozzle fits the bill admirably? G
Flying Snail
Thanks for the ideas. I´ve made a little repair for the time being with a small plastic vial. There is a bit too much of the wire , which is probably usually coiled, to try the sealant nozzle trick. Thanks again for you thoughts.
