Reversing camera wiring

hi this is a great idea been trying to work out how i could do it without wiring to reversing and brake lights,its a wireless camera set up and uses mobile phone as the monitor,didnt want a perminant feed as this would shorten the life of the camera,but wiring to side lights would mean i can check behind me when ever i want by just turning side lights on and not have to put it in reverse as my wiring diagram that came with camera states,again brill idea could even wire to marker lights at top of motorhome as want camera quite high a splan to tow car behind motorhome
