Keithl
Hi All, Just seen that Aldi have their folding chairs on offer again this Thursday... https://www.aldi.co.uk/en/specialbuys/thur-9-apr/product-detail/ps/p/aluminium-multi-position-chair-1/?pk_campaign=uk_product_newsletter&pk_kwd=2015-04-02_17-40 We've been using ours for several years now and they really are good. The advantage for us is that they double as both dining chairs and recliners. Keith.
Zydeco Joe
Thanks for this , could you measure the folded size as the Aldi site only has the open size. We don't have a lot of space in our locker and the chairs we use need replacing soon so these could be a good idea.
Keithl
Hi Zydeco Joe, When folded and stood upright they are approx 22 1/2" Wide (obviously the same as open), 36" High and around 5" Thick. They do have curved bars back and front and stack into each other very slightly. Definitely worth a look at. Keith.
mikebeaches
We bought the original Aldi folding chairs pretty much like the ones on offer - 10 years ago! We've been sitting on them in the garden this afternoon. :-) They've been all over the place with us in the MH and are very robust and comfortable. The design has now changed very slightly, so they are slimmer when folded. We bought a pair of the latest design last year from Aldi, and they are already packed in the van ready for our travels this season. We have some featherweight folding aluminium leg rests which we use with them when we want 'loungers', as opposed to just chairs - so they're multi-functional. Great product and good value!
