Keithl
Hi all, We've got the ferry from Harwich to Hook of Holland booked in a few days time and wondered what the parking was like at the port. We're on a 23:15 sailing so were hoping we could arrive a few hours earlier and sit and wait rather than turn up at the last minute. Check in is up to 2 hours before departure so would be OK if we turned up 3 or 4 hours before this? If parking is a no no at the port does anyone know anywhere nearby we could park up for a couple of hours please? Thanks for any help you can offer. Keith. mgain
plenty of places to park just outside the port, there is a retail park just outside, right on the way into the port, there is a brewers fayre at the premier inn next to lidls, so you can have a meal if you need one, loads of parking. Keithl
Thanks Mick, Sounds like a quick look on Google Maps may be in order. Then a last minute spot of retail therapy before the off :D Keith.
Guest Peter James
I was in Harwich recently, the place seemed very relaxed about motorhome parking, I parked overnight somewhere near the seafront, can't remember exactly where. Nice interesting place, I would have stopped longer but didn't have the time.
