aandy
Reluctant to state the obvious, but I assume the waste tank is not full? If it is water will come up through the drain as the 'van moves.
Keithl
Does the toilet have a separate flush water tank? If so it should be emptied before driving! Caravan technology carried over to MH's! Keith.
flicka
There have been numerous threads across the forums about this problem. Many have found the "overflow" pipe on the fresh water tank to be the cause when travelling with a full tank. The favourite answer appears to be extending the overflow pipe or travelling with 1/2 tank or less has solved some of the problems. Hope that helps as they are easily achieved. bolero boy
our Bolero had a breather pipe which acted as overflow, but this vented outside the vehicle. you need to try an experiment with the fresh ful but the waste empty, the waste full and the fresh empty, and both empty, to see if it cures it. this will locate, or eliminate, the potential source. the only way fresh would get into the shower is either a bad overflow design (as Flicka suggests) or water is coming in from the shower hose....poor tap fitting etc...
