Keithl
But does 'Illegal Occupation' not mean that they can legally remove your vehicle? Edit - And I will not be the first to try and find out!!!
ilreeves
We were in our local park and 4 travellers had parked up and put out their washing lines. The police parked one of their cars oposite the vans for their own protection. I would have been told to move immediately if I had parked my van where they had parked and given a ticket. But as they were Traveler's the police had to get a court order to ask them to move on. This would take up to a week to process through the council and then through the court. They moved to a park 5 miles away and done the same. The next week we had 6 ore vans.
keninpalamos
There's your answer. If you are only there for the day or night it would take a court order to get you moved. how long would that take and if your 'van is your home i.e. full time, that is the case anyway as you are deemed a traveller in the eye's of the law. By the way, I won't be trying it either B-)
