snowie
We are not exactly enthusiastic winter campers but............ Just got back from a trip down memory lane. Met some "Tugger" friends at Butt Farm on outskirts of Beverley, great little site, not been open long, not perfect, but not far off, and for such a new site really impressed. Had a nice walk around centre of Beverley on Friday evening, a wet day in and around Hull on Saturday, and a great meal at "The Persian" on Princes Avenue in Hull on Saturday early evening. I'm pretty sure we'll be going back to both campsite and restaurant in New Year. Looking forward to 2017 for City of Culture events. Great place to camp. And the experience has made us think about doing this sort of thing more often over the next few months. regards alan b
John52
I like Hull too. I go to East Park for the Steam Fair - only half a dozen engines so it doesn't take long to see it, but its worth going just for the park on a nice day, and you can drive right in and park free. There is some ancient right of way along the riverside so there is a nice flat cyclepath where you can see all the docks and new developments. Chris Beverley
Hi Snowie Pleased you enjoyed your visit to Beverley. I haven't visited the site as yet, but good to know you thought it OK. The Beverley area is not very well supported by sites which h is a shame.
whiskers
We love Beverley too. We usually stay at Willow Lane when the Dance weekend is on. Must try Butt farm next time.
