tom1946 Posted May 26, 2017 Share Posted May 26, 2017 Hi all, just fitted a pioneer radio CD dab to my starfire 2002 on a peuget boxer chassis 1.9 diesel. It worked fine so I put the dash panels back up and now the battery is drained, completely flat. So I put my spare battery on to give it a boost thinking that it was a bit strange. After I connected it to try a jump start I noticed that the ignition lights were on as if I had turned the key, Uh Oh what's wrong here? The spare battery lead earth was getting hot so I disconnected it. What on earth could I have done wrong? Help.... thanks, Tom. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Keithl Posted May 26, 2017 Share Posted May 26, 2017 Hi Tom, It sounds like you have connected the permanent live feed and ignition switch feed together.
