starvin marvin
Just read that the Maybot's two crutches, Hill and Timothy have been kicked away. That now leaves her more exposed. The wolves are circling and watching. Don't you just love Tory blood sport.

antony1969
'kicked away" not sure what that means ... Thought they'd resigned and quite rightly so .... Maybe this lot should resign or get "kicked away" whatever that is ... https://twitter.com/KTHopkins/status/873497555434450944

derek pringle
hi, It has been said that if May got her result then the Chancellor would go. Things have obviously changed but I wouldn't expect him to worry too much about her position now. cheers derek

Tories very quick to jump into bed with the DUP and their terrorist mates the UDA. For those you, (that means you) who may not be aware that the UDA are the other sides PIRA. So not a lot of publicity here in the UK as they tend to murder Catholics, like the guy recently gunned down in a car park in front of his 3yr old son. A real bunch of charmers. Brian Kirby
John52 - 2017-06-10 7:31 PM Problem is I can't see anyone better to replace her :-( True, John, very true, and extremely depressing. IMO it is a bit rich to attribute all the current humiliating mess to TM. OK, she was the PM who called the election and caused this fiasco, so her scalp is bound to be at risk. However before her was Cameron, another bringer of chaos. Both suffered from a lack of judgement, largely, it seems, due to a failure to listen to advice they didn't like, and to think strategically before jumping in with both feet. Yes, they both had advisors, but who chose their advisors? Beyond that, behind both May and Cameron there were cabinets, who should have been able to persuade both PMs to follow more sensible paths, but did not. Cabinets chosen, of course, by May and Cameron. But behind all of that are the parliamentary party, the famous 1922 committee, and the national party, and they decided, in their wisdom, that both Cameron, and his successor May, were fit people to be party leaders and, by definition, to be PMs if they won the most votes in an election. They must take responsibility for selecting the candidates for election, and so, when their choices prove to be unsound, for the resulting farrago. Were this a major Plc, and the chief executive turned out to be an expensive dud, one would expect members of the board to also have to go, for appointing the expensive dud. Sauce for the goose etc.? The failings here are far wider than one person. I'm seriously beginning to wonder if the Conservatives as a whole have lost their ability to select people with the right combination of experience, intelligence, guile, media savvy, and strategic thinking to be considered as a party of government. I have similar reservations with the other parties, so it isn't just the Conservatives, but we do seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel on all hands, and it isn't encouraging. Further elections won't sort it in the absence of suitable candidates, and we are presently set for some of the most complex negotiations we have even entered, with 27 other countries who are far better represented by their governments that we have any realistic hope of being. I think we need several years to get our heads in order before we allow anyone to go and negotiate anything on our behalves. I dread to think what the consequences might be if this bunch of error-prone lightweights continues on schedule. Ye Gods, what a staggering mess! For me the most nauseating thing about this whole disaster is George Osborne's crowing over the demise of Theresa May: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2017/jun/11/george-osbornes-revenge-best-served-ice-cold This is the guy who claimed he cared about 'his country' whilst neglecting his duties as an MP to tout for jobs on the side. We need to remember the Government Theresa May replaced was even worse - before thinking of ousting her.
