Robbo
webby1 - 2017-07-17 9:27 AM DOn't be surprised when you don't need to put in a pin.............................which I thought was a vital level of security........................just put the card in and it takes your money. When you approach the electronic toll booths, choose the one's for high vehicles, generally on the right for card or cash payment. When you get to the booth, flashing lights will appear on the payment machine which guide you through the payment process. 1. Insert toll ticket 2. Check in the display below that you have been recognised as Class 2. If it shows higher, press the help button and say "Class 2 Camping car". 3. Insert card or put money in the appropriate place. 4. Press the button for obtaining a receipt. 5. The barrier should open after step 3. It's all very easy if you follow the flashing lights. As mentioned above, if paying by card, you don't need to enter pin number. You may find that some short, busy, sections of autoroute don't issue toll tickets. When you arrive at the payment machine it will just tell you how much you are charged and the Class (usually a small amount like 2 or 3 Euros). So, ignore Step 1. Happy travels, you'll soon get the hang of it in no time.
