Let me define the word "expert",

ex is a suffix which generally means " used to be" or "was previously"

Spurt as it was origionaly spelt means " a large drip under pressure"

I hope that helps.

As for the claims of what we will lose when we leave the EU, the one thing we won't lose is free access to European Markets, because we never had it. As a French resident I am not allowed to buy a computer with a qwerty keyboard, in case it has the wrong plug. When dealing with any part of French officialdom or big business, they are not allowed to speak to me in English, even though many of them speak good English. We are not allowed to use a UK financial services company to organise our money, we have to bring it all to France and pay tax on it before we can invest it.I am not legally allowed to access UK television in France, unless I buy it from France Telecom. Add to that the BMW police cars that are the cheapest available to our local authorities, along with the Mercedes vans and ambulances. and so on, and then try and find a none french vehicle being used in France by local or national government department, or in any other major EU country. Take account of all those EU registered trucks you see on British roads, and then see how few British trucks there are on the roads of Europe, and then explain what free access to European markets actually means.

You must try harder Archie.......this only took me a few mouse clicks to find! The powers of the internet! ;-)

Also......you do realise you can switch your keyboard language?

When dealing with any part of French officialdom or big business, they are not allowed to speak to me in English, even though many of them speak good English.

They certainly like their 'officialdom' and paperwork i will grant you that....but "not allowed" to speak English? Come on Archie!!! You forget, my ex-wife is Swiss, from the German quarter....(i use that description rather than Swiss-German as the latter always confused some into thinking she's German, and Swiss don't like that).

So, where she lived it was very easy to be in the Swiss-French quarter in minutes and yes, they won't speak German and certainly not Schweizerdeutsch. They can't speak the latter and they can't be arsed with learning German even though they (Swiss-French) only account for 23% of the population. So my ex-wife spoke Schweizerdeutsch, high German, French, Italian and English.....fluent in all.

Frenchies are a bit like British when it comes to languages......lazy. But those who can speak English will. There is no law stopping them. France is neither a dictatorship or Totalitarian state!

We are not allowed to use a UK financial services company to organise our money, we have to bring it all to France and pay tax on it before we can invest it.

Can't comment on that as i have no knowledge of the financial sector. However one of my nephews does and there is nothing he doesn't know about the business. Works and lives in the city employed as personal adviser and hedge fund manager to a Greek billionaire. I will email him if you like but when Tim starts 'talking figures', he may as well be talking Mandarin to me. He knows his stuff.

We seem to have done this before! Bottom line Archie is Police and Emergency services will use the vehicle types best suited to the nature of job. UK Ambulance service use Mercedes, Renault, Fiat and Skoda. Police primarily use BMW, Audi and Volvo for high speed pursuit vehicles with Ford and Vauxhall as patrol. Vauxhall signed one of the UK’s biggest Police fleet deals with over 2,000 vehicles, including 1,200 British built Astras, destined for Police forces nationwide under a huge group tender.

Because we import more than we export. We always have and always will. We are an island nation and rely on imported goods. We do need to up our export market but when you have the likes of Dyson using cheap Malaysian labour to knock out his cleaners which are then exported back here, it all gets a bit embarrassing. Oh....naturally we gave him a Knighthood for that! Royal Doulton and Wedgewoods went the same way. Formerly the pride of Stoke-on-Trent.....now the pride of Indonesia.

None of these EU trucks you mention come here for a spot of sight seeing or touring around......all are bringing goods into the country which we want and need. If you want to stop them, first you have to stop the demand for the goods they bring in.....good luck on that one matey.....but stop that and the country would sink within a matter of weeks.

Meanwhile..............................back at Bombardier!! (lol)

To them it must have been like Nazi occupation. Imagine that.....finally you beat them off and relations gradually improve. And then the German Foreign Secretary coming over and reciting Mine Kampf.

Yes, Boris is such a wit isn't he *-)

Yep.......and as a Labour supporter you must have a highly developed sense of humour to......if you think Corbyn will be good for the economy (lol) ........
