Tracker
And now for the blatant advert! Our son runs a ChipsAway franchise based at Cheltenham and over recent months has repaired several vans, and specialist classic cars, as well as a lot of 'ordinary' cars and vans very impressively. They have some very hi-tec paint colour matching and mixing kit and are very accomplished in preparation and spraying. I know I am biased but having done a lot of repairs and spraying over the years I do know a good job when I see one so for a first class repair at a sensible cost contact Dan. https://www.chipsawaycheltenham.co.uk/home.php
ColinM50
Well I don't know Tracker or his son and have not had work done by him, but I have had a neighbour's car repaired that I'd backed into by my local Chips Away franchise and they were quick, did a good job and colour matched a four year old red car (toughest colour to match) perfectly. So should I need a repair and in the right area, I'd be happy to use young tracker.
monique.hubrechtsgm
Impressive skills are involved in that kind of work. Let the air flow whit paint in a smooth surface, better than a factory spray robot. Wish he was here nearby. Regards to Dan.
747
I have had need of Chips Away in the past and can reommend them. They can do the job at your Home or workplace, which is a big advantage.

Tracker
Geeco - 2018-03-31 5:12 AM Hey Rich if Dan is planning a trip down our way he could fix the stone chips on the front of my Tracker in exchange for a couple of nights accom. Cheers, Cheers Gary, he would need to bring all his kit - and the van too - to do a good job and he would need a dry day with no or very low wind to work outdoors and reach his high standard of finish - but I'll let him know of your very generous offer! Adiebt
Have used ChipsAway in Warrington a couple of times and both the service and work have been excellent .Have no idea what their GRP work is like though .
Tracker
GRP and aluminium are not a problem although they possibly need a different primer/undercoat to steel panels? Plastic bumper repairs look good to me too and again there may be specialist materials involved?Any doubts and the franchisees have a specialist help line based at their Kidderminster HQ with access to a huge database of information. Not sure about acrylic panels - I'll ask when I see him! Geeco
Funny that I just received a post on Facebook to say the Aussie team has taken up a sponsorship package from Mikita. The papers here have had the story on the front page all week they are really giving them heaps of grief.
