2010 CI CARIOCA 656 Hand Book Needed

Hello

Our first post here having recently purchased a 2010 CI CARIOCA 656.

We are very much enjoying it and as it was well maintained, there have been no issues.

The one thing the previous owner no longer had though was a hand book and since it seems the brand isn't around now, would anyone have or know where we might buy one?

Hoping somebody can help just in case we do need it at some stage!

Thank you

Greg

Hi Greg and welcome to the forum,

In lieu of a Carioca handbook you should be able to find instructions for all the individual 'bits' of your MH on their respective manufacturers websites, eg Dometic for the fridge, Truma for heating possibly, etc, etc...

If you're still struggling then post make and model of what you need and someone or other possibly has a link saved.

Keith.

As Keith has said, you should be able to download (and print) operating instructions for your Carioca’s heating appliances (Truma), fridge (probably Dometic) and toilet (Thetford) from those manufacturers’ websites - and those instructions are likely to be more comprehensive than the equivalent advice in the original CI handbook.

The potential problem will come when the equipment fitted to your Carioca is less well-known and/or instructions for that equipment are not available on-line. This 2012 forum thread (some of the links now non-functional) is an example

You might try contacting Auto-Trail

through whom CI motorhomes used to be imported to the UK. A few years back Auto-Trail used to be able to provide copies of CI motorhome manuals, but I’m not sure if that will still be the case.

The following link refers to a Roller Team and Ci Owners Club (I assume this is still going)

and you might see if you can get a handbook from there.
