chello Posted May 24, 2018 Share Posted May 24, 2018 Amazing weekend in our much loved Bessaccarr, our 60th wedding anniversary is on the 26th of May,our family decided to celebrate one week early to avoid the bank holiday,we were told to keep the weekend free. our only instruction was meet our daughter at Taunton dean services, then follow her to our first site at Cheddar.The next morning was more mysterious,they left and said the final destination was in my satnav and I could leave at 2pm, thirty miles on and we ended up in the village we got married in,the village hall had been hired and the small adjoining field, there was six motorhomes and many tents,we had to stay in our van until summoned and change into fifties gear.More than 50 family and friends were there to celebrate,an amazing surprize for both of us.All made possible with a loving family and our love of camping,sorry to drag on but were still on cloud nine. PJay Posted May 29, 2018 Share Posted May 29, 2018 Yes Congratulations. We are reaching 62 years this year. Also 9 grandchildren, but only 2 great grandsons It is lovely to frame the the queens card. We have ours on the lounge wall. Not sure how many of to-days marriages will last as long 2 of our three have been divorced twice!!
