Billggski
You need axle weights and tyre specs first, that's why you get so many answers. Camping tyres will take higher pressures, but need high pressure valves.
k99bbb
Have just had 4 new motorhome tyres fitted but they would only fit the rubber valves i said they should be metal but say the rubber ok
Billggski
The fitters who put my camping tyres on had never seen high pressure valves, they only stock normal valves for cars. These are only safe up to about 65psi, so I had to buy them myself and get them to fit them. A lot of talk on this forum about them and where to buy. gp1
Noticed mine were camping tyres does that mean 5.5 bar ok? Its quite a hard ride.
Billggski
5.5 bar / 80psi OK for CP, camping tyres. Some manufacturers give that as the default setting for the rear axle, but if your weight at the back is less than 1850kg you could reduce the pressure.
