We stayed there 12 months ago, but only for a week. The bars and restaurants on the seafront were all open and busy, so we ate out every day.

The internal roads are a bit narrow with tight 90° corners, but the longest of vans got round with a bit of manouvering.

I've made a video of the approach roads which includes the roads inside the site. You can see the width of the roads and the sizes of the pitches to give you some idea - hope this helps.

Great video. Our sat nav always tried to take us wrong at the top roundabout, as well! But as we new the way always ignored it!

You where there the same time as us, as you passed our van on the corner by the office! (in your video)

Sadly no longer our van, as we have given up and sold it!

Thanks for all your comments, still not sure, maybe will pop in for a night or two and make our own minds up . Everyone has their own idea of the perfect campsite, we shall see! Will keep you posted. Again thanks!

Hi, We have been to Calpe for the last 2 years and loved it, but we stay at Estrella Polar, just up the hill from Mercadona towards Moriaria, this right next to the Grizzly Bear restaurant and is very informal with bar and basic facilities. We are going in December until just before Xmas and will really enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and meeting friends in the bar.

It's a longish walk to the old town but great for walking to the beach and prom north of the rock.
