Just 23 days to go B-) ..............

Until No Deal >:-) ............

Ha fecking ha.

People going hungry, schools, hospitals and police underfunded, and we've p*ssed away £100 million telling people we're definitely leaving on Halloween.

Totally agree ... Lets stop foreign aid and fund those underfunded areas youve mentioned ... Well done ... A little side issue seems to be your continual anger swearing problem which really does reach new heights with your last post ... Try deep breathing exercises before you post princess

I've never voted conservative in my life but I'm coming to the conclusion that they have more to offer the northern sector and the UK as a whole than Labour or any other party. :-(

It's true that - for a change - a political party SAYS it has great plan for the north - ( where they are looking for votes ).

But should the north believe anything that Johnson says ?

Would you buy a second hand car from Boris Johnson ?

;-)

Given the state of how he kept his own car..........never.

...and the rest

That was just the advertising campaign. Not what businesses and everyone else has wasted preparing for BoJo's promised Brexit date. >:-)

Why would anyone squeeze the poor? ..

Good question

Why don't you start by asking the £billionaire Brexit backers domiciled in HM tax havens (like the Daily Mail owner) to avoid tax so the poor have to make up for them?

The poor don't pay income tax ? :-| ........

I know because ;-) ...........

Because I'm too poor to pay income tax :D ...........

I'm talking about the stealth taxes they have slipped in to replace income tax.

With Brexit funding £billionaires domiciled in tax havens they are desperate to evade an EU wide tax treaty, who do you think is paying tax for them *-)

Seeing as YOU keep your dosh abroad ;-) ...........

I'm surprised you have the brass neck to criticize anyone *-) ........

But then again I'm not :-| .........

Hypocrisy has and will always be the bread & butter of the rabid loony left >:-) .........

Why are you now trying to change the subject away from Brexit supporting £billionaires not paying tax *-)

Why are you pretending to be ANY different to them? *-) .........

Hypocrite >:-) ........

Because unlike them I'm domiciled in UK paying UK tax.

I just bought a S&P 500 ETF through a UK fund platform

Boris Johnson previously claimed that leaving the EU will save £350 million a week, when in fact his Brexit deal will cost £1.35 billion a week.

Put that on a bus.

Its amazing what some people will claim when bunged a 800k of EU funding *-) ..........

Surely something that isn’t earned isn’t a cost. The economy will only not grow quite as much.

The Leave Vote was won on the basis that we would be better off?

From a more balanced publication the FT "Germany may have entered recession"

Germany’s central bank warned the country’s economy may have shrunk for its second consecutive three-month period, which would mean the eurozone’s biggest economy has entered its first recession in six years.

The Bundesbank, however, said in its monthly report: “A recession in the sense of a clear, broad-based and sustained decline in economic management with underutilised capacity has not yet been apparent.”

The German economy declined 0.1 per cent in the three months to June and the situation has shown few signs of improvement since then, as the US-China trade war, uncertainty over Brexit and disruption in the car industry continue to weigh on growth.

The technical definition of a recession is when there are two consecutive quarters of negative growth.

The federal statistics agency is not due to publish the official economic figures for the third quarter until November 14.

The Bundesbank said the export-orientated manufacturing industry “continued to weaken” in the third quarter, while more domestic-focused sectors “continued to stimulate growth”. It added: “Due to the continued good situation in the labour market, the income prospects for consumers continue to be favourable.”

Car production was “greatly reduced” in July and August, it said, adding that tougher emission standards from September may have contributed to the slowdown. Production of intermediate and consumer goods “fell sharply”, while capital goods production stagnated and medical equipment and materials production was up.

The labour market has cooled in Germany recently, but unemployment continues to fall, the Bundesbank said. In September the number of people registered as unemployed fell by 10,000 from the previous month to 2.28m, its first fall in four months."

And feel free to start comparing GDP or GDP per capita - which also disproves your point.

Ffs, their economy is not performing worse than ours. They are just more efficient at reporting , on the 11th November when the ONS report we will see if the UK has had its second consecutive month of negative growth, until then juries out. But don't forget a 0.1% reduction in a larger GDP still gives Germany a better GDP than us.

Both polls are pretty current

The polls however are starting to suggest voters are now starting to fall in behind main parties again. Labour's increase in all polls is happening at a quicker rate however than it did in 2017, the only difference is the Tories have gone up in the polls somewhat also. All Corbyn needs to do though is get Labour over 30%, if the Tories can't break 40% then we are probably heading straight into another hung parliament.

The key thing is how the Brexit party vote will impact on all of this. The experts are saying they will hurt the Tories more than Labour. Just goes to show eh? People didnt know what they were voting for when the Tories and BP are so far apart on the Brexit outcome.

Remember though in a hung parliament all the Tories have is the DUP's 10 MPs and its questionable if they now have them, Labour on the other hand could have 50 SNP MPs if they retake Scotland. So the maths favour Labour if Boris cannot command a majority of any kind.

Be afraid! Be very afraid!! (lol)
