Gone are the flashy cars, boats and luxurious villa holidays but since Brexit gone has pretty much the rest of the work. This year has been the worse ever. Being disabled hasnt helped which has got worse but feck it. I dont regret it but Im now doing the sums and wondering how long I / we might live because post Brexit I reckon the "Austerity years" will seem like the boom times and here is the thing. Those that are smug now and think Im alright jack,should not be so cock sure unless you have a sh1t load of money in the bank or considerable assets your going to be stuffed when this sh1t storm kicks in as a few years from now there will be no hand outs probably, less work, pension age will probably be a hundred and probably no NHS. I read his autobiography "Life" a couple of years ago. If you haven't read it it's well worth buying. I learned a lot about him. The 'bad' side of Keith, the drugs and drink, is well known but less known is his belief in family unit bond (he was an only child), his love of dogs (one he had was a stray he rescued when on tour in Russia), his first introduction to music as a Westminster choirboy which he loved with a passion. All those years dedicated to entertaining our public, the sex, drugs, rock n roll, bouncing about on stage, more sex, booze and more booze, all the groupies you can eat take their toll eventually.
