colin Posted September 24, 2019 Share Posted September 24, 2019 I've been mulling over John McDonalds speech at conference, as a landlord I might need to think about a change of policy. If Labour get in I will need to think about chucking out my present tenants (with two months notice) then getting DWP tenants in (I've had a few asking), this should ensure that I have tenants who have no interest in buying as gov covers their rents, that and the guarantee of paid care costs so I won't have any need to sell up if I go into home should work out well, every cloud has a silver lining. Councils have less money as they pay out more in Housing Benefits.
