It's funny then that despite your EXPERTS predicting that we'd be 3 years into a deep recession by now ;-) ........

That it's the EU's meal ticket, Germany heading into recession and not us >:-) ..........

It looks to me that our negotiation position will only get better after Boris wins the next GE, and Parliament has a shed load of Brexiteers instead of Losers elected B-) ........

Looks like those EXPERTS might have had a point, who would have thought that they would have known more than Pillowstuffer Pelmet?

More anti Brexit doom & Gloom from the not very independent.......Independent *-) ...........

BTW who are pulling their strings now that Putin's chum has sold it? ;-) .........

I think you will find that the source is the ONS. Here is one of Murdochs with the same story

https://news.sky.com/story/closely-watched-survey-indicates-uk-on-track-for-recession-within-months-11801902

You should try it without the spin ;-) ..........

https://www.ons.gov.uk/economy/nationalaccounts/balanceofpayments/bulletins/uktrade/july2019

Looks to me we're ticking over quite nicely B-) .........

Really! From your link https://www.ons.gov.uk/economy/grossdomesticproductgdp/bulletins/gdpmonthlyestimateuk/july2019

Care to explain how entering a recession is "ticking over quite nicely"?

GDP dipped slightly into negative because certain companies decided to shut down production prior to our previous Brexit dates *-) ...........

If you look again we're now back into positive territory B-) .........

Tell me if the next quarters GDP growth is zero or negative and we have then officially slipped into a recession - two quarters in a row - will you accept it then?

GDP is turnover, not profit. Much of it is housing cost inflation. Thomas Cook had massive turnover, but still went bust.

This is what matters

(You can click the link to Germany's national debt which is going in the opposite direction to ours)

Despite that BoJo is going into overdrive with pre-election promises, and Javid wants to abolish inheritance tax for those getting an unearned windfall of over £350k - ask yourself who he intends to take the tax from instead of them >:-)

The financial world gave its verdict on Brexit when it sold the pound as soon as the referendum result was announced.

Its given its verdict on the German economy by paying Germany to take its money - negative interest rates. When did that ever happen in Britain *-)

Perhaps you could explain why German banks are in the Doo Doo? >:-) ..........

Why are you changing the subject from Germany's economy to Germany's banks *-)

He always changes the subject when losing an argument.

More importantly, if you are ready for a dose of reality here is a sensible summary of BoJo's speech.. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2019/oct/02/boris-johnsons-speech-of-coward-conservative-conference it "does not change the reality that a majority of the House of Commons opposes no deal, which is now set in law under the Benn Act."

Too many words and not enough pictures for the Mad Hatter in that article.

Too late,our time has come

We send messages all the time

For the solutions that we find

Goodbye BMW

I think it’s time we go,

You know you’ve gone and blown it all away

Mama...ooh

I can’t face Eu anymore,

It’s time we trade ,

with the whole world,

Let’s us go, no we will not let you go

No,no,no,no,............

Rubbish.

Etonian Rhapsody is better.

I even recorded it for the Fruitcakes.

Its a bit out of date now. Recorded around the time Johnson got p*ssed and had the cops round after his fight with his girlfriend.

Is this my real wife?

Is this philandery?

Ahead by a landslide

No escape for society

Open your eyes

Look up all the lies and see:

I'm just a rich boy, no need for democracy

It’s an easy win, for old Bo Jo

A little high, on a little blow

Anyway the country goes, doesn't really matter to me, to me.

Theresa, I just hatched a plan

Got endorsed by Lizzy Truss

For that lie upon the bus.

Theresa, Brexit can be won!

Just need to go and throw the Scots away!

Theresa, oh oh

Didn't mean to make you cry

If I'm not PM this time tomorrow

Carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters...

MASTURBATE!

My time has come!

Sends shivers down my spine...

BUGGER! Now I’ve gone and spilt my wine!

Carrie! Get off my laptop please

I’m duffing up my phallus, spaffing over Tory sleaze!

Goodbye Nazanin, I've got to go

Gotta leave you in Tehran, forget the truth!

Nazanin, oh oh (anyway the country goes)

I can’t help but lie

You must wish I'd never been born at all!

(Guitar solo)

I see a little watermelon of a smile:

Piccaninny! Piccaninny! Would you fetch an espresso?

Tory voters whitening, very very frightening!

Portillo! Bordello! Minstrel show! Albino! Eskimo! Magnifi-Go-o-o-o-ve!

I'm just a rich boy and nobody loves me!

“He's just a rich boy from a rich family

Spare us from his Honey Monstrosity!”

“Easy come, easy go, will you let me vote?”

“G Miller, no! He will not let you vote!”

“Let her vote!”

“G Miller, he will not let you vote!”

“Let her vote!”

“G Miller, he will not let you vote!”

“Let her vote!”

(Will not let her vote) “Let her vote!” (never, never let her vote) “Let her vote!” (never let her vote)

“Oh oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no!”

“Oh Gina Miller, Gina Miller, Gina Miller let us vote!”

Beelzebub has a medal put aside for me!

For meee!

For MEEEEEEEEEE!

So you think you can stop me and spit in my eye?

Though you loved me on #HIGNY?

Oh baby can't do this to me baby

Just gotta get out, just gotta get Hunt outta here!

Oh oh oh yeah, oh oh yeah...

Nothing really matters

Anyone can see

Nothing really matters

Nothing really matters but ME!!!

(Anyway the country goes...)

"Boris Johnson has warned of plans to 'sabotage' the European Union by vetoing the bloc's seven-year budget if a deal is not reached by October 31."

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7542249/Boris-Johnsons-plan-sabotage-EUs-budget-Brexit-delayed.html

"If Brexit is pushed back after October 31 the leader of the Brexit Party, Nigel Farage, could be drafted in as the British Commissioner in Brussels to 'disrupt' meetings, reports claim."

Looks like my Mystic gut is more accurate than I thought B-) ...........

"Boris Johnson has warned of plans to 'sabotage' the European Union by vetoing the bloc's seven-year budget if a deal is not reached by October 31."

Johnson isn't clever enough and also he's bone idle. The hardest "work" he does is keeping up with the lies he's told and even that's taking it's toll now.

Why do you adulate and fawn over a man only a few months ago you said would "sell his Granny if he got a buyer"?

Is he? He has convinced Tory members and great swathes of the public he is just so he can get the number 1 job but he is an untrustworthy serial liar so nobody can now take his word on anything. He has even lied to the Queen. So much so that laws have now had to be passed to stop him. The only thing Johnson is hell bent on delivering (or so it would seem) is a no deal Brexit that there is no mandate for.

What I think he is doing is trying his best to make it look at least that he is behind Brexit and committed to leaving do or die on the 31 October and judging by your comments its working. However all Boris is concerned about is staying in power and he will sacrifice Brexit for that if he can convince people it wasnt his fault. He is doing a good job of that.
