putting our much loved NHS heroes at risk ... Not nice

That was BoJo

Last I heard we were told not to even ring 111 if we get it - just go home and die so we aren't counted in BoJo's statistics.

Is that what Fishfaces NHS is telling you? 8-) ............

No, it was in England where we were being told not to ring 111.

Nicola Sturgeon has forcefully pointed out that English Government policy has been primarily directed towards avoiding the political embarrassment of an overwhelmed NHS.

Hence infected people discharged straight into care homes, and others told not to call the NHS.

We are to 'Protect the NHS' instead of the NHS protecting us.

So the same it didn't happen in Scotland? ;-) ............

"Ms Sturgeon said people leaving hospital to return to care homes in Scotland will ***not*** be routinely tested, in contrast to England."

Sounds to me like Ol Fishface cant even be bothered to test your care home residents 8-) .........

I can't access the Daily Mail because they don't allow ad blockers - and adblock plus deems their adverts 'unacceptable'.

Reality is the high street, pub and casual dining sectors were already in crisis before the plague - and nobody wants them in a plague.

We have an economy thats hugely unbalanced towards services nobody wants.

We need to tackle the difficult job of rebalancing the economy towards producing things we can sell abroad. Which BoJo has made far more difficult by imposing 2 metre distancing on the production lines and our competitors manage with 1.5 metres - and our pubs manage with 1 metre 8-)

Borrowing money to throw at fraudsters and services nobody wants - including 27,000 contact tracers at agency rates doing nothing, is unsustainable - and will leave us in a far worse state when it stops.

Oh I'll still be leaving all that in England ;-)

We will continue to export all the things we do now (too numerous to list here) and whatever the factories make that relocate from England to be away from BoJo's interference and on the right side of EU trade barriers :-D

Well even that is more exportable than pubs, restaurants, and hotels nobody wants - but is being kept on life support by throwing vast amounts of borrowed money at it and its fraudsters, whilst its stoking up a second wave of Covid.

Can't you see this is not sustainable?

And its certainly not a 'bounce back' either :-(

I would've thought that when pretty much a complete sector(cafes/pubs/restaurants/nail bars/hairdressers etc) has been shut down for 3-4 months -something that probably hasn't happened during peace time?- , then it'd be f*%* ing obvious that when it did open again, what trade it did would would show as a *"fast growth rate" ?! *-)

(especially when, in the case of eating establishments, the government is subsidising things with it's "eat out to help out" scheme)

So your point is what? ;-) ............That the UK economy is very robust and is raring to go? :D .........

Coz that's the only reason that I can see why builders, electricians, plumbers, double glazing firms, caravan and motorhome salesmen, campsites, hotels, resturants, pubs etc etc etc are so busy B-) ..........

Have you lost the plot (of course you have, years ago). Do you actually believe people want to see the UK economy go down the toilet just to prove that Brexit was a bad idea? Do you not think all of us have a vested interest in the economy recovering? Everyone one way or another has suffered considerable financial damage from both Brexit and Covid. Do you honestly think some of us want to suffer more?

Indeed - and the worst will come when all BoJo's borrowing

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2020/jul/15/coronavirus-contracts-government-transparency-pandemic

has to be paid back by the diminishing number of people in work.

At least Jeremy Corbyn would have got into Her Majesty's Tax Havens and made the Tory supporting media £billionaires pay tax.

But BoJo isn't going to do that is he.

BoJo will do what the Tories always do -

stealth taxes that hit the poor the hardest >:-)

I prefer to call it criticising rather than "whining". Why do you think some of us are criticising Brexit and the government? Unlike you most of us are not obsessed with "winning" (and ill leave people to draw their own conclusions on some peoples obsession with that word), its precisely because we can see the damage this government and its barmy no deal Brexit will cause.

You and other Jihadi Brexiteers like you are so obsessed you cannot see the wood for the trees but ironically its the Brexiteers of that mould that will suffer the most. I wonder who the "winners" will be then.

Scotland is for those that appreciate culture, scenery and are prepared to tour so it wouldn't suit the likes of you. As for complaining your area is 'rammed with tourists', as Pepe pointed out, it is summer so what else do you expect? They're keeping your greasy spoon cafes and burger joints going so you should be grateful, especially as you never even had to buy the house.

The whining is you hearing your own voice echoing your incessant tediously booooooooooooooring silly mantra of "left liberal losers" and all the other daft tripe you come out with. The only time you're happy is when you're with your boyfriend, 'cooing' to each other in your little echo chamber.
