Number of deaths and infections in England. There is a big problem with the pandemic in England and your leader and the media are not telling you the full story and too many people are just accepting the false guidance and instruction you are getting. So despite starting out in the strongest position surrounded by water, we now have the highest excess deaths in the EU. No amount of name calling will distract us from that. Our Government was paralysed because the Prime Minister avoided 5 Cobra meetings to go round ignoring social distancing till he caught the virus himself. Then he clung on to power whilst totally incapacitated. So by the time Government was restored it was too late. He tried to over compensate by enforcing 2 metre distancing on our factories, putting them at another huge disadvantage to their EU competitors. Now has swung to the other extreme by reducing it to 1 metre with no face masks in pubs! and a taxpayer funded subsidy to encourage it which is another recipe for fraud. That's the point the article raises if you'd bothered to read it. Unlike Europe, UK never bothered with checks and allowed folk to wander in. It's common knowledge after NZ lifted it's strict lockdown, it had to quarantine two tourists who checked positive for Covid....both Brits. There was similar selective accounting going on in England also but no matter how you dress it up the death rate in both Scotland and NI is massively less than England.
