Keithl
I have just read this article on OAL about travel to Europe with a pet after the transition period... https://www.outandaboutlive.co.uk/motorhomes/news/government-updates-rules-for-travel-to-europe-with-pets-in-2021 May be worth a read if you are planning on taking your pet abroad in 2021. StuartO
Unless you have firm plans to take your pets abroad early next year I suggest you hold fire on going to whole hog with revaccination and blood testing, which is expensive and may prove unnecessary. Unfortunately the EU is holding back on listing the UK (as part of the brinkmanship of the continuing negotiations) but UK is a rabies-free country and it makes no sense not to List UK (which will allow more lenient checks, hopefully as currently) so hopefully that is what will eventually happen. UK Vets are keen enough to offer revaccination and blood testing so you can be prepared for taking your pets early next year come what may but they are making good money from doing so. I'm delaying, waiting to see what happens as the Transition Period ends.
