When it eventually opens in seven years time perhaps all those that lost their jobs at Nissan and the rest of North Eastern manufacturing will be able to work there. However. A couple of things concern me. I think the largest battery producing plant is in Germany. Two I believe. If we do not have a tariff free trade agreement and frictionless trade why would Europe buy its EV batteries from us? Its also dependent on the EV factories themselves being built here in the UK and the same applies to them. Its good news but it seems a brave decision given the uncertainty until you discover that Johnson is funding it to the tune of a Billion quid promised so far and half a billion next year. You're outside the 90 day limit so the very least you'll be subject to is being kicked out of Spain as an 'illegal' and a marker put on your passport at UK Border control.....IF you're lucky you might escape the fine.
