sheetmetal Posted February 23, 2021 Share Posted February 23, 2021 hi gents Swift esprit 2015 reg on a fiat ducato engine battery dead flat started with a jump starter no problem engine run for 30 minutes then checked engine battery on control panel showed nothing at all does the system shut the engine battery off when it reaches low volts i will be charging battery up with a 240 charger thanks Keith Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Keithl Posted February 23, 2021 Share Posted February 23, 2021 Keith, If your control panel does not display any voltage for the engine battery then it is likely you have blown the main interconnecting fuse when jump starting the engine. Does your Swift owners handbook show where the main fuse is located? I would guess it will be near the engine battery connection point but you never know! Keith. sheetmetal Posted March 2, 2021 Author Share Posted March 2, 2021 Hi thanks for your info checked all fuses all ok connected jump starter to engine battery control panel showing good reading so i'm guessing the no reading on the engine battery condition was down to a flat battery battery now at home charging like a good un .
