John52
John Major is right of course. I wasn't very impressed with him as PM. But, like all the others, he seems great compared to the PM we have got now.

Used to be the Argies, Then it was the Trade Unions, Then it was the EU, Now its the Remainers, I suspect next it will be the Russians Macron has been trying to make peace but Johnson seems to be playing up the danger? He just likes to curry favour with his fellow LOSERS (lol) (lol) (lol) ......... It's not about morals. The difference is that Major didn't make shagging illegal before he did it. ... and - why would he want to curry favour with anyone - I don't think he wants to be Prime minister again.. :-|
CurtainRaiser
John Major is concerned about the slow drift towards fascism and the lack of accountability that the people have to hold the government to account. If only our Institutionalised Democracy had been founded on transparency and accountability, instead of a moral-compass.. John52
malc d - 2022-02-13 10:16 AM why would he want to curry favour with anyone - I don't think he wants to be Prime minister again.. :-| exactly Johnson is still PM with the power to make or break careers, and hand out £billions of OUR cash. So I can understand why some want to curry favour with 'Boris' Especially when its inconceivable they could serve in any other cabinet. Or want another bite at the cherry - whats left of taxpayer's cash. What I can't understand is why Dave wants to curry favour with 'Boris'

A Knighthood for sycophantic services rendered ? A million pound contract for PPE if there is another surge in Covid ? ;-) p.s. Although I should think that just a signed photo of Boris, to go by his bed ,would be more than he's ever dreamed of. ;-)
