Bulletguy
colin - 2022-06-11 11:35 PM Friday was listening to the story of a woman cashing the cheque at a pawn broker as she was desperate to get some money to put in the leccy meter, had to make two trips as she hadn't got right ID. The first thing she switched on after getting power back? Well the TV of cause to provide "background noise for the cats"! Maybe her cats and tv are the one bit of pleasure she has left? :-|
John52
If she has the misfortune to live in England she is about to be subjected to the full force of Therese Coffey's DWP. Whipping up a new hate campaign against benefit claimants to blame them for the economic catastrophe of Johnson's Brexit. Same Old Tory Divide & Rule. But now moving up a gear. Soon the lowest level benefit claimants can be arrested, their bank accounts examined and homes searched by DWP officials on a whim. Enough to put them off claiming altogether and bring Johnson's unemployment count down even more *-) As far as I can see, the more they claim the less chance there is of getting caught. Big fraudsters are pretty safe - Johnson has practically abandoned the idea of tracking down Eat out to spread it arond fraud, PPE fraud, Covid loan fraud, Furlough fraud etc etc Ask yourself why ... But the highest level of benefit claimants remain totally safe. No one, not even the police, can search the public owned estates where the biggest claimants live. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2021/mar/25/revealed-police-barred-from-searching-queens-estates-for-looted-artefacts
John52
Bulletguy - 2022-06-11 7:52 PM those supporting this government should hang their head in shame. They won't of course because their attitude is F you.....i'm alright. . They had an easy time when even a semi-literate chancer could get a soft job mis-selling pensions and buy a cheap house. (or rent one thanks to the Labour Government they now despise) Now pulled the ladder up behind them and living under the delusion they did it all by their own ingenuity and hard work. But we are all only a car accident away from being disabled (non Tory supporter). Missing out on Sunaks windfall whist the wealthiest (Tory supporter) get several helpings - one for each house they own.
