Then when he heard the Queen had died he said All was now “insignificant”. Like why is the taxpayer subsidising the fuel to heat £billionaires swimming pools? Why didn't she just help those in hardship - and with cash to avoid stoking up demand for fuel when the supply is so limited. Another extra cost our energy suppliers have is having to take out out full page adverts to counter the false claims Truss is making about energy bills being capped at £2500. And her MPs can't get rid of her because calling for yet another new leader so soon would make the UK Government a bigger laughing stock in the EU than it is already. The only weapon they have is the nuclear option of calling for a general election and then they would all lose their cushy jobs. So she will spend the next 2 years indulging her expensive tastes, milking the job for all she can, and leaving a poisoned chalice for the next government.
