John52 Posted September 9, 2022 Share Posted September 9, 2022 Consensus in the FT seems to be that it will reduce inflation before the election, and increase it after when the money has to be paid back. Nobody seems to fully understand how the Tory privatised energy market works. But her borrowing has already crashed the £ to levels not seen since the Tory Government of 1985 - which will add to inflation. And she wants the nuclear and wind generators to accept a price below todays level, but far above normal levels. so we will be paying that over 15 years. We can't renege on the contracts the Tories signed us up to because those supplying our power have the upper hand. If we break the contract so can they and then the lights go off. So she can go round the world on private jets/royal yacht/whatever, taking the p!ss out of you, strutting her stuff as leader of a G7 country. I’ve already said that I and many others in England WANT Independence for Scotland - for us it’s very much a “win-win”. But every time we say this - you in particular and the SNP in general go into a stroppy schoolchild sulk and come up with nonsense stuff to say the powers that be won’t let it happen. It’s like you lot are actually scared of achieving what you purport to desire…. You must admit your behaviour is odd on this. The powers that be won't give us a vote - and if they did they send us so much of your money to bribe the p!ssheads and crackheads to vote to stay in the UK as long as they keep sending us your money Same in NI and Wales So Truss maintains her empire at your expense. Last time we got a vote Cameron got the wind up about losing his empire and sent us even more of your money. Just look at what Spire healthcare hospitals charge in Edinburgh then compare it with Spire healthcare hospitals in London. They have to charge less up here because we don't have to go private.
