SEAN74
I'm gutted!! I recently discovered my motorhome, a Rapido 924F has rotting on the underneath of the vehicle behind the left rear wheel. I don't have the technical ability to attempt such a job. Difficult to know if i have an internal leak that is the culprit or it's wear and tear over the years that has suddenly just got worse! My question is does anyone know any motorhome garages that would carry out this work in the Kent area? My location is the Isle of Sheppey or ME12 region of Kent. Any answers/help would be greatly appreciated in advance. Happy New year to you all.
Labby
Although not in Kent it could be worth having a look at www. motorhomebumpers.com who are in Canvey Island Essex and repair Motorhome bodies but may , either , be able to help , or know of someone near to you who could help with floor repairs

Derek Uzzell
Sean These links are to a couple of firms that you might try contacting http://www.motorhomesrepaired.com/ https://www.jcleisure.co.uk/motorhome-servicing/ Your nearest Rapido dealership will be Wokingham Motorhomes (near Reading). Their website https://www.wokinghammotorhomes.co.uk/ states that they can carry out repairs, but if you want somewhere more local to you they may be prepared to suggest a reliable company. The 924F has its bathroom in the left rear corner, so (as you've mentioned) an internal water leak might well have caused the rotting. However, I believe this Rapido model was introduced in 2004 and the undersides of motorhomes built then lacked the protection that's commonplace nowadays.
