It tends to get a bad press. We tend not hear about the times its used to expose Government corruption, or a victim avoid a stalker. Obviously it would be better if someone posts with independent first hand experience, but since they haven't done so far ...
Derek Uzzell
Tor is not a VPN, it's more of an 'encrypting' browser. These links should help to explain https://nordvpn.com/blog/tor-vs-vpn/#:~:text=Tor below.-,Is Tor a VPN%3F,a browser or an app. https://www.torproject.org/ https://support.torproject.org/faq/faq-5/#:~:text=Generally speaking%2C we don't,Tor %2B VPN at our wiki. https://www.wired.co.uk/article/what-is-the-dark-web-how-to-access

Exactly Try to put Politics and personal vendettas aside, stop, and think about this logically. if Tor network can expose Government corruption without the Government's spooks being able to find out who the whistleblower is, what better recommendation could there be? It obviously works, but how much use it is for receiving TV in Spain I don't know. Just thought it would be worth a try since no one has yet come up with any other ideas. Do you know anything that might help?

As a retired Government spook, I can assure you that Tor will be no use whatsoever for receiving TV in Spain
DickB
I have used my mobile phone with roaming and mobile hot-spot selected to get all UK TV during my current time in Spain and Portugal. I use a USB to HDMI cable to connect phone to TV. Occasional buffering, but no worse than a site with weak and busy WiFi. I am still well within my data allowance so very comfortable with this setup. MikaEmber
Hey there! Getting English TV on multiple devices in Spain can be a bit tricky, but there are a few options available: NordVPN, Windscribe, VyprVPN, etc. You can also access it via TOR, but it gonna be a bit slower. flyboyprowler
Surfshark VPN works well with the Firestick and is recommended. We are here in Spain and use it with all our sticks, both at home and in the van. It can be used on multiple devices.
Gazza_C
I use NordVPN which has been pretty good to me. Is this just getting normal TV on your apps? My friend uses IPTV for streaming which I use from time to time when I travel and is pretty amazing.

With a UK VPS, you can access UK-based TV services from anywhere in the world, including Spain, and on multiple devices simultaneously. It also makes sense to try vyprvpn, nordvpns, windscribe or any other popular vpn.
coach2000
I have used Surfshark for the last 2 years, including U.States. No problems. Cheap deal 1st year then full price after. If you use McAffee protection on your laptop, you get a free VPN Included. Clive
