An experienced free/wild camper friend often parked in a quiet street in an industrial part of town if he arrived into a city late. Or simply some quiet street, we've done those before. Alternatively we might be taking a ferry that will avoid Athens altogether. Seems to be cheaper even though it's 3x the length. spirou Posted June 22, 2023 Author Share Posted June 22, 2023 Ultimately decided on a small parking area around Votsalakia beach and its sports compound. Relatively quiet after most of the partying ended (Piraeus was busy at 1am!) In the morning realized parking areas around the marina and olympic stadium would have been just as fine or better.
