1990 Bessacarr battery not charging

Recommended Posts

Hi Mike

I assume you have checked the obvious ,

Power from mains

All fuses are intact

Charger is connected

Where the charger is at this age of motorhome  is anyone guess as it may be moved around and maybe replaced ?

Try the locker and under the seats , Derek may be able to help you locate

  • Keithl changed the title to 1990 Bessacarr battery not charging

Hi

I take it you have tried where I suggested also have you tried the wardrobe?

Contact the Bessacarr Owners Club I am sure they will advise on that model and year

As I say it may have been moved around over the years , follow the wires from the battery may point you in the right direction

Sorry I could not be more specific for that model and year again Derek may be on later and help before you start pulling apart

Regards

If Michael's leisure-vehicle is 1990-vintage, I'm not sure it is a motorhome as I think the Bessacarr company was only manufacturing the "Cameo" caravan range in the very early 90s. The Bessacarr brand's history can be read here

For what it's worth, this link relates to a 1992 Cameo 600 GL and that caravan had "Plug-In-Systems" electrical equipment.

In 1996 Swift Group bought Bessacarr and this 2020 forum thread discussed the electrical equipment of a Swift-built  1999 Bessacarr E625 motorhome. (Apparently) that vehicle would also have had Plug-In-Systems kit.
